Assessment Report

The Assessment View Report is designed to provide a management level view on the overall compatibility results. It explains App-DNA™'s compatibility check methodology as well as providing a brief description of common compatibility issues. The sample provided gives a view of an assessment report generated for Windows 7 compatibility in a non-representative sample of applications.

 

By Error Report

By Error Report

The By Error report is designed to give a view of what issues have been detected in a user-defined selection of the application portfolio. It shows the nature and proliferation of those issues, as well as which apps are reported to have them. This report is useful for identifying what the main problems are so they can be addressed in a priority order and provides a systematic approach to resolving issues.

Remediation Report

Remediation Report

This is a sample "By Error" report for one application. It provides a view of the compatibility issues that were detected for the app, how they are manifested, what the remediation is and most importantly what action needs to be taken to fix it. Additionally, it provides a button to generate an autofix for designated issues.

Effort Calculator Report

Effort Calculator Report

The Effort Calculator uses known remediation actions and the effort associated with those actions (combined with individual application complexity) to calculate time, effort and associated cost for the migration of the portfolio. This report is useful for gauging the size, cost and scope of the compatibility challenge.

EstateView Report

EstateView Report

The Estate View Report provides a view of the overall application compatibility results. It contains a pie chart of the RAG (Red/Amber/Green) status for the app portfolio as well as the breakdown of which issues were detected. The sample shows an assessment report generated for Windows 7 compatibility in a non-representative sample of apps.
