The "Best Fit" Manager helps organisations to discover where applications "Best Fit" in their environments, assessing version, OS and virtualisation options, and comprises the functionality included in AppTitude Server Compatibility Manager, Quality Manager, Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp and Virtualisation Manager. The result of combining these powerful assessment capabilities provides organisations with essential information in a single view on every application across the enterprise regarding Windows Server2003 and Server2008 compatibility; compatibility with 64-bit systems; interoperability; dependency; performance; optimal loads for multi-user applications; and suitability for virtualisation, including Microsoft App-V, Citrix XenApp and Windows Terminal Services. It also flags which applications have interoperability and overlap issues for silo and Citrix server farm planning. AppTitude Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp

The Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp allows organisations to check for application compatibility with Citrix XenApp and Windows Terminal Services. In addition it enables you to check for application compatibility with Citrix XenApp versions 3.0 through 5.0. Included in the Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp are two types of analysis - static and run-time. The Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp also enables overlap analysis, i.e. can I get this application on this server without 'breaking' an application already deployed by checking for shared files and registry keys. Lastly, the Virtualisation Manager for Citrix XenApp facilitates infrastructure optimisation and management.

AppTitude Quality Manager

Quality Manager enables Windows installer-based checking for interoperability of applications. This means organisations can understand in advance what the impact will be of uninstalling, upgrading or repairing an application.
