The SBC Manager allows organizations to check for application compatibility with Citrix Presentation Server 3 through to Citrix XenApp and Windows Terminal Services for Windows Server 2003 and 2008. SBC Manager enables assessment of applications by two levels of analysis - static and run-time. Runtime testing further extends AppTitude's highly accurate static analysis process to include the ability to manage a runtime assessment. Runtime data includes a view of all file and registry activity in addition to performance metrics. The SBC Manager also enables overlap analysis, i.e. can I get this application on this server without 'breaking' an application already deployed by checking for shared files and registry keys. Lastly, the SBC Manager facilitates infrastructure optimization and management.

Provisioning an application for Citrix is time consuming and costly. Historically an application needs to be manually evaluated for compatibility with the operating system on the server, compatibility with a version of XenApp, and with Windows Terminal Services and this can take months.
