UK Press Briefing

Here are the video highlights from a recent UK press briefing held in conjunction with AppDNA, Microsoft, HP Professional Services and Camwood together with senior IT personnel from Tube Lines and Newham Borough Council. The press event detailed the role that automated application testing software has played in Newham and Tube Lines' planning around Windows Vista deployment, enabling both organisations to quickly test 1,000's of applications for OS compatibility, while providing valuable information on the remediation efforts required to migrate those applications that have compatibility issues.

"We are currently on XP SP1 and found that more of our applications were compatible with Vista than SP2. That is an absolute fact. We were able to prove it through our work with AppDNA and we were able to quantify it."

Adrian Davey, Head of IT, Tube Lines

"We have been pleased with the speed with which HP and AppDNA have been able to test our application estate, clearly identifying which applications will make the transition to Windows Vista without any compatibility issues and which applications will require remediation efforts. Importantly, the testing reports also provide the technical information required to fix those applications that will not work, enabling us to schedule and timeline this work."
